"If I tell you Im good, you will say that I'm boasting but if I tell you that I'm no good, you will know that I'm lying" - Bruce Lee
I am a software developer currently developing mobile apps. I primarily develop native android apps. I love Java, I love Android Development. Linux over Windows. Not much of a Apple lover yet. You get two types of people, Android Phone & Playstation or iPhone & Xbox. Im the former.
I was born in the Vaal Triangle, Gauteng, South Africa on a cold July evening somewhere in the late 80's. Since about the age of four I knew that I wanted to develop software. My only regret being that I only got my own personal computer very later on in life which is not so bad because my drive and determination meant that I would write code & logic on paper then I had to visualize what would happen if it ran. Ahhhhhh the struggles.
Fast forward a decade or two and I have a few apps under my belt, most notably the Lobola Calculator which sits on over 110,000 downloads in the Playstore. The app got plenty of local and international coverage landing me a number of TV, radio, web and print interviews.
I really enjoy programming and learning new languages, making apps and other software and being involved in the entire life cycle of software/systems development(SDLC). I have spent most of my software development career working at Start-ups which I'm thankful for because that has really shaped the way I think and solve problems also this has really benefited me as a programmer in that in a start-up environment you have to on some level learn a variety of skills and be very involed in front-end to back-end development.
